Azalea leaf discoloration (pics)

Total novice here. Just wondering if anyone could help me diagnose and treat my azaleas; the leafs look yellowish and have some sort of film on them. I thought it might be lacebugs but the backs of the leaves look healthy. I think this happened last year around this time as well (I also remember the leaves turning an unhealthy looking brown in the fall.) For whatever its worth, the plants looked fine in spring.)

Not entirely sure, but I'm in Brooklyn and have been having azalea lace bugs, which suck the bottom of the leaves, removing chlorophyll, which leaves a pattern something like what you've got. Check the bottom of the leaves, and if you see lots of little black dots, that's your problem. If that's what you find, you can do a search for remedies, but I think that insecticidal soap sprayed on the bottoms and tops of the leaves will help.

Is this a Rose Greeley azalea (white blooms)?
My Rose Greeley azalea had very similar symptoms and it was lace bugs. Your pics look very similar to the ones I posted:

I would inspect for the black specs on the back of the leaves and the insects again.
