Exbury 'White Throat' azalea question...

Posted by gerry_wyomingpa z6 (My Page) on

I just picked up two of these on clearance in a 1 gallon size, 6.98 for both of them. I had an orange and a yellow exbury when I was living in PA, and LOVED them, there is still hope that I can get ahold of them...fingers crossed. Does anyone know if these white ones are going to have the same bloom habit, basically pom poms on a stick in the spring? Are they also slow growers? And most important, does anyone have any pictures to share of them?

Thank you in advance,

RE: Exbury 'White Throat' azalea question...

The ones in PA were probably Klondike (yellow) and Gibraltar (orange).

White Throat is described in detail at the link below:
