Autumn Amethyst foliage

Hi all, I'm a newbie and was wondering anyone has Encore Azalea's Autumn Amethyst. I read in their brochure that this type has purple winter foliage. Is this your experience? Does anyone have a picture of it? I have just never seen an azalea with foliage that changes colors and was intrigued. Thanks!

RE: Autumn Amethyst foliage

This is not that unusual. Some rhododendrons also have this fall foliage effect. The nice thing is that since the plant is evergreen, you get it all winter. I believe all 23 varieties of Encore Azaleas have great fall/winter foliage.

I can't find a picture of an Encore azalea. Here is a photo of a different azalea in the fall.
