Azalea's leaves have turned burgundy

Hello

I have an azalea that had leaf gall this spring. I removed the galls, but over the course of the summer the color of the leaves has gradually changed from green to burgundy. New growth was green just last week, but now has also changed color. The plant seems to be okay, but is there a way to help the leaves regain their original color?

Thanks.
