Hi,
I have many pouk. azaleas planted in my yard. The ones in full sun do best, the ones in partial shade are not as full. They all did well this spring, regardless, BUT, now their leaves look kind of bronzey and faded, and they have tiny black spots on the undersides of the leaves. I'm not sure what this is or how to treat them, and I definitely want to take care of them before it gets cold. Can anyone help with this? I appreciate it!
Melissa
Mottled upper surface and dark varnish-like spots underneath usually means azalea lace bug, but can also be evidence of thrips. Can you post a photo or do search for photos to compare for yourself to determine which may be your problem?
