This plant entered the trade in 2005. Apparently Wayside is the only nursery handling it, hence information if very limited about it and only comes from Wayside.

It goes on further and states:

Best in dappled or half shade, 'Cherry Cheesecake' is heat-tolerant and long-blooming. Rely on it to flower profusely no matter what the weather chooses to do in any given spring. You will find it a trustworthy and very low-maintenance presence. Zones 5b-9.

Zone 5b may be too tender for you.

Wayside gardens is a mail order house for Park Seeds. They have their ups and downs. Some people love them and some hate them.
