| It's part of the normal growth cycle for the oldest, inner-most leaves of evergreen rhododendrons to turn color (yellow, red, orange) and later drop. Leaf drop usually takes place in early fall following the maturing of the current seasons growth .... As long as it involves foliage at least two to three years old, no need for concern. |
