Their reason for not flowering right now could be one or all of the above...and more. I suspect that your azaleas are busy developing a thriving root system into their new surroundings and cannot devote the carbon resources (energy) to the production of flowering. Hopefully, you haven't babied them with lots of fertilizer to 'green them up' and encourage lots of new growth, because that would be the number one reason why they aren't flowering.

Plants cannot do a millions things at once. They have a limited ability to tend to their usual activities: developing new roots, storing energy to get them through the winter and for the big spring growth period, reaction to pests, disease recovery, flower production, etc.

I think that your plants are reacting in a normal way to who knows what kind of influence and will be full of blooms next year.
