I chopped down an old large leaf rhodo to the root in hopes in wouldn't return but it did. At this point, I figured I'd keep it and keep in trimmed each season. There are new stems about 12 inches long with buds on them now. I pulled several of them out of the ground from the root and stuck them in the ground somewhere else. Will these new transplants live? From what I've seen, this plant is tough.
