Hi these are two azaleas that we have had here since we moved to our house 18 years ago. I took this picture this summer and was wondering what these were called. The pink one is a giant bush and is about five feet tall but could easily be bigger if my mom didn't like to keep it in a formal box shaped hedge.
The white one is a smaller shrub about two to three feet. We have another pink flowering shrub that is a bit smaller than the white one next to it. Miraculously a plastic tag was still attached to one of its branch that we never noticed before. Its called Gumpo pink. I know that there is a white Gumpo azalea so would it be the same kind?
Both are evergreens I believe since they still have their leaves at this time here in northern Alabama. Just wondering if anyone could help. We have more that I don't know the name to growing underneath our magnolia tree but I don't have any good picture of them. Lately, I've grown a new appreciation for them.
