WANTED: Have Rootone, Will Travel...

Looking for cuttings, not because I'm cheap, but because some of what I want may be hard to come by in most Phoenix area nurseries. I don't have any plants to offer in exchange, but maybe we could barter for some laser engraving work.

I'm looking for some specifics, and some suggestions. I'd like some unique stuff that you don't see every day. Not saying I want everything on this list, these are just some of what I'm most interested in.

Back yard: Has pool and we're going for a heavily tropical look. Looking for cuttings of:

- a medium height (10'-30'), clumping bamboo for 40' of wall screen, maybe 20 cuttings?

- hibiscus 3-5 varieties, maybe a yellow hibiscus tree

- tropical BoP

- ornamental banana ?

- Some other types of heavy, fast growing foliage that's fairly pool friendly to fill lots of spaces.

Front yard: 3/4 desert; 1/4 grass; corner lot

Desert part:

- honey mesquite is one of my favorites

- Rio Salado

- jacaranda

- various cacti, some paddle type cactus such as prickly pear, a unique variety maybe.

- organ pipe; do people grow these? Are there laws against root propogation or cuttings from private stock?

- ground covers, non-typical

- agave, any variety

- other suggestions

Grass part (some in shade):

- bush roses

- climbing roses

- gardenia

- gladiolus bulb divisions

- some kind of privet

- other suggestions

Thanks a bunch!
