The pic is small so it's hard to say. If it's truly dead and not just damaged on the bottom, then you need to cut the dead part away and start over. On the plus side, as long as the top is healthy, it will root easily. =) If the bottom is only damaged, it will heal as long as you protect it, it won't look too purdy, but it will have character!
