Tree for buffalograss lawn in Tucson?

Hi everybody, new here! We're installing a buffalo grass lawn this spring, and we're looking for a shade tree that will do well with the spring-thru-early fall watering schedule required by the lawn.

Trees in Tucson suck up available water for obvious reasons, but we need a tree that won't grow too fast and tip over or fall apart (like Willow Acacia) nor be too invasive (like a mesquite or cottonwood). The size we're looking at would be 25-30 feet high and wide, max.

Every tree species I've looked into seems to require "deep, infrequent watering" -- suggestions, anyone?

PS, I've been eyeing netleaf hackberry (noninvasive roots) and Gregg ash, but I can't seem to find any info on how they'll react to weekly, rather shallow watering.

Thanks all!
