Hi,
I have a big even at our house in October. My Wife is well, shall we say mildly frantic over the state of our plants. she wants color. I did plant some lady bank roses on the south facing back wall by the pool, but we had drip system issues, and they all dies. as did the natal plums and twisted myrtle on the east wall. I'm leaning toward re planting all of these come spring. will they look good by October?

we also have a courtyard in the center of the house. one wall has mature bougainvillea which are great. the other side needs some color. it gets some light. any thoughts?
