I admire them for their effort. I have to really push myself to get off my butt & cover my Cara Cara orange tree.

Well, the freeze did not kill the grasshoppers - in fact I think they are BIGGER. And now think the straw bale that has been sitting under the lady banks hedge for a couple of years, and that I pulled apart to mulch the tomato beds is full of the *&*%#( creeps. All I managed to accomplish is to transport them, with no effort on their part, to the best tomato bed for spring. Jeez. This farming is fraught with things that can go wrong. :-/
