Wine or wiskey barrels in Phoenix

Does anyone know where I can get some half wine or whiskey barrels in Phoenix to plant in...that are not $40+. I cannot believe the prices for these things! Home Depot does not have them in stock yet and I have seen them at some of the nurseries for about $43+. Thanks!

You might try craigslist. I did a quick search and found a guy in Tucson that makes trips to Phoenix with barrels, whole and 1/2. Half barrels are $35.

I got 2 half barrels from home depot 2 years ago for $20 each...I got it during june-july was on sale. I think I saw half barrels at lowes few weeks ago.

I was looking for barrels myself but the prices are ridiculous. I got some 20" platic pots for $9 a piece at Lowe's. Much better anf I have about the same area.

I buy 25 gallon tree pots at $ 59.00 for 10. The total cost is roughly $ 9.00 each delivered.
