Anyone in Tucson area try growing the Goji Berry? It is also called Wolfberry. Lycium barbarum or lycium chinense. Apparantly it is a vine and it yeilds the berry we are hearing about as "acai". It has a pretty, persimmon shaped berry and give purple flowers similar to morning glory. It is in the nightshade family. Its supposted to be good to zone 9.

I would love to try this but I hate to plant things that just end up suffering. If anyone has tried this in our desert climate, I would love to hear about it.
