Boysenberry planting location

I was wondering if boysenberries can take the summer sun here.. I can either plant it on the east side of the house which will give it 3 hours direct sunlight per day, or on the west side of the back yard next to the brick retaining wall and about 5ft north from a banana tree which would help shade it from afternoon sun.

Right now it's planted next to the brick wall, and it's buds are starting to emerge, so if I needed to transplant it I would have to do it soon before it totally wakes up

Would it even fruit with 3 hrs sunlight?
