Perfect seed-starting warmer!

Supposedly, seeds sprout faster if you provide them with bottom warmth.

I put my containers of starter pots on the main computer in the office, just behind the exhaust fans ... it's where I often put bread to rise faster.

My husband would not be happy if I tried to put plants anywhere near the computer but it sounds like a good idea if you can get away with it. Now the bread thing, he might be happy with that! I start tomatoes, peppers and eggplants on heat mats, they're all in their own 4in. pots now on the driveway soaking up this heat and loving it. thanks for the tip!

The seeds are planted in jiffy pots and those are inside recycled salad green containers so there is no spill problem. Obviously I move them away from the computer to water them.

But it was such a lovely warm spot :)
