Patience has been rewarded

I woke up over the weekend and looked at my apple tree's pretty blossoms and about freaked when I realized it was being attacked by aphids. I immediately started to flip and wanted to run and do a million and one things to rid those nasty creatures. I tried spraying it with a hose, but it didn't work. However, I remembered I've planting other things that are supposed to attract beneficial insects, so thought I would just wait and see. I came home yesterday to see how bad my tree was infested and I saw these tiny little white eggs on my leaves. I could have sworn I had read about them before, but was it good or bad. Well it is good..I have confirmed they are a bunch of lacewing eggs all around those aphids. Now I'm kind of excited to see this whole process, and know what it feels like to be thrilled I have a spotted a beneficial insect in my garden.
