Fruitless Olive - how much can I prune?

Hello all, I am in the process of planning a front yard remodel and am considering a Fruitless Olive. It would be planted in an area that has 11 feet between the house and the grass line, so I'd want to keep the horizontal spread of the tree to no more than about 10 -12 feet as it matured. I've seen a few Olive trees around town that have been pruned pretty aggressively and they seem to be happy in narrow confines. But I am looking for some feedback to confirm that it is okay to prune back an Olive that aggressively as it ages. I'd probably buy a 15 gallon tree, so it would be several years before I'd have an issue, but I'm planning on being in this house for the long term. Any feedback or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tom
