Full StoryDoes anybody besides me think it would be a good idea to try an avacado tree in the desert? We're in Lake Havasu. The summers are hot, the soil is rocky and alkali, and the water is super hard.
I am trying a Little Cado, which everyone tells me will die. It's been in the ground for six months and is adding new growth, but it's definately nothing to brag about.
Have any of you in the low desert been sucessful with an avacado tree? If so, what type, and what are you doing to help it out?
