Epsom salt is usually used to correct a magnesium deficiency in your soil. Do you have a deficiency in your soil or are your plants showing signs of a deficiency? A soil test can determine the former. Sometimes, too much magnesium can make calcium unavailable to plants so I wouldn't add it unless you know you need it.
