This year I am determinded to get good apples.

Live near Sedona the trees are about 5 years old and are good producers, but the apples seem to be dry and not crispy and juicey like the ones in the store. I know it must have to do with my watering. I do fertlize but year to year they do not seem to grow much. They are on a drip along with a plum that is hugh in compairison to the apple trees.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.

What variety, and how well are you watering them?

I would ask this question in the fruit forum. I'm harvestamn or applenut or Don the Jellyman would know whats going on after asking a couple questions. All are well known respected orchardists. Don and harvestman both manage thousands of trees and applenut has no less than 200 apple trees at any given time. Ask the experts.
