Arizona's high temps and low humidity...

would Alocasias or Elephant ears do well in these conditions? I want to plant some in front of our house (which is facing North) would they do well during the summer or will they just dry up and die?

I had elephant ears that did well on the north side, but there was a lot of humidity because I also had an aviary there under a tree canopy which held the humidity in. I would think they'd need extra moisture in May and June - IF we got a monsoon in July & August.

All you can do is try.
