Are we at the end of kale season in Phoenix?

I planted my kale in January, and until now, whenever I harvested some, more would grow. After the last time I harvested, nothing new has grown. The kale that is left looks very healthy and I'm going to harvest it for Easter. I'm wondering if it's just too hot in the afternoons now and it's simply not going to grow anymore. Or is there something I can do?

no,, i have kale from last year. if you put in shade, they may survive the inferno.

Toucan -- Did you kale keep growing, or did it go dormant and revived? Here's a photo of what's left of the kale. It has thick main stalks now.

I chopped several kale stalks off, leaving 4" - 6" of stalk. Every one has put out more leaves. I've had chard live and produce (in shade in summer) for over a year. I'm going to move the kale to shade and see what happens.
