help identifying good plants for the area, or what a plant i find in my yard is, a good camoflaging plant (to hide ugly cable/phone box in front yard), help with advice on how to set up things in an attractive way (landscaping, patio)

Oh ok, well where I live, it's totally different here, we are more high dessert, mostly Juniper trees, scrub and few Pinon Pine Trees. You have some great nurseries there in your area, I'm sure they would be able to help. One of my favorites is Christopher's Nursery.

Good Luck!
