Small bell peppers (QC)

My red and yellow bell pepper plants have survived 2 winters and produce fruit every fall through spring. I have them on a drip system watering early AM and late afternoon. They yield small peppers, the size of a golf ball and slightly larger. I have not fertilized them since I planted them. How do I approach getting them to bear larger fruit, or are they a lost cause?

I am in Queen Creek.
Thanks for any tips.

Peppers tend to be heavy feeders so fertilized them. About every 4-6 wks. with a balanced formula like 10-10-10 but not a higher ratio.
