What is this little yellow spider on my hibiscus?

One of my hibiscus plants has small spider webs all over it. I see this one little yellow spider (see spider on red bud circled in red). Will it harm the plant? What should I do?

I don't know what it is, but I do know it's harmless to your plant and likely very helpful in controlling bad bugs. I love spiders so I'm envious; that's a pretty little thing. ;o)

I call it Yellow Spider Ascaryious. A member of the Creepy Arachnid Family of Spiders. If it were in my yard it would be dead already.

I can't find such a spider. The closest spelling I can come to "ascaryious" is a parasite worm. Are you being facetious? And why would you kill a beneficial?

tomatofreak Thats Ascaryious pronounced A-Scary-ious.lol

We have hundreds of lizards that eat insects for us. My wife kills all spiders. She fears them and hates them with a passion. We call her The Spider Hunter.

It looks like one of the "crab spiders" ... they hunt for insects in spiders.

They are white or bright yellow, harmless and good predators.
