I love days like this and they are so few here in the city heat island. I am making the most of it. What are you doing?

I'm loving this weather too (although not the wind the other day). Nice looking gerberas there! I've mostly been planting out some summer veggies, and slowly retiring some winter plants that are *just* starting to get tired in the warmer days (nasturtiums and pansies in pots mostly). What did you end up doing? Happy gardening!

I cut back some petunias, pulled up some tired winter greens (plus some that had powdery mildew, grrrr), dug up two beds, a host of weeds and grass and potted a few plants that had been lingering in black pots. I'm planning a sunflower forest - graduated from short to tall - in one bed and want to fill the other with some shade plants. Any ideas for that one?

Painting all of my nursery pots the young trees in them white.
I feel like artist.

Nice! I'm letting my petunias go to see since I've got some work trips coming up and don't want to worry my house sitter with plants to water while I'm gone, so I'll let them get leggy, crunchy and then dead and will replant with vincas etc when I don't have road trips planned, LOL. Shade plants? Ornamentals? Annuals? Perennials? Sounds like a fun project! Nice job too, V8! Pics, please?! :) Happy gardening all!
