rose on ugly block wall

Hated the look of the block wall and there was so much of it.
My husband made me a trellis of redwood 1x1's and we planted this rose to break it up. It worked great. The rose stays green all year and only blooms in the spring but I can live with that.

Looks like another Lady Banks! Do you tie it to the trellis?

Only tied it when we first planted it 4years ago, after that it did its own thing. Does not take very much water, I don't even have a drip on it. Just water it when I think about it. Can't complain.
