Call the nurseries - it grows pretty well here.

I agree with Lazy, you can call around to local nurseries to see if they have them currently. I've seen them at Baker nusery in Phoenix, Shady Way in Apache Junction, and at AZ Cactus Sales in Chandler, plus occasionally at the Desert Botanical Garden's plant sales area too. Even the big box stores carry some now and then.
