Black Flies on Tomato Plants

az_pamperedchef

I have 3 large tomato plants (Beefsteak & Cherokee Purple) in the east side of the house. Plants look healthy, but I'm finding an abundance of what look like small, delicate black flies or perhaps gnats on the plant. It doesn't appear the plants are getting damaged, but I'm concerned. Any ideas what they may be and how to deal with them?
