Pink Velour Crape Myrtle - Tucson (Last Question!)

So, again, this is my last question.

Last year I bought a baby pink velour crape myrtle from Lowe's. I have lived most of my life in the south and crape myrtles are my favorite trees. I almost killed it during the winter and is growing back quite nicely. But it's still very small and not a dwarf variety. I have given it a general use fertilizer and miracle grow it once a week. I water it every morning. How do I make it get really big really quick? ;P

Thanks.
