Peeing bug

No, I am not crazy. I have been under trees and felt tiny droplets of water.
It was not cicadas this time. I have not seen cicadas do this - yet.
I got up close and it was a small tan bug, maybe 3/8 inch long. Oblong. Over and over it made a drop of clear liquid at one end and then it would drop. There were several doing this.
I can't find anything on google. But my search words could be inadequate. All I came up with was cicadas.
Does anyone know what this bug is?

This is probably from the sharpshooter leafhopper. They pierce plant tissues with their mouthparts and sip fluid. Then they excrete the processed fluid which by this time is mostly water and it can feel like mist or 'rain'.

Leafhoppers and most cicadas are in the family Cicadellidae, so they are somewhat related.

I'm not sure that's it. He was more tan, and seemed more "plain". I'll keep looking.
