our valencia aborted all it's fruit yesterday ... every single one ... all, were about the size of a golf ball, are now on the ground around the tree ???????

Citrus trees don't usually drop fruit once they have reached golf ball size. The tree must have been under some kind of stress.

Maybe the 50mph winds. I lost a couple of apples.

well, we did have a flush of new growth ... and the winds may have played the part as well ... looks healthy, so I'll be patient and let it be ... :) thanks GardenWeb, ya'll ROCK :)
