Very nice photos, your plant looks healthy. I recently sprouted a Hibiscus sabdariffa a week ago, hoping it will eventually be as big and healthy as your plant.

thank you. I hope yours produces better than ours ;) Mulch really good, ours has about 3" of mulch, plus a drip spray system on an auto timer for summer. Winter we just let it go without water.

This one has been in the box for over 10 years. It's approximately 10' tall by 4' wide and that's after pruning and a bad freeze a few years ago that took a major toll on this one and killed a ficus in the front yard (frozen SOLID).

GREAT pics of beautiful flowers! They're very fancy with the extra petals and the ruffles. Really nice-thanks for sharing them with us, plus your watering/mulching regime. I've not planted any hibiscus as I see so many that are just pitiful, but when I see well grown ones I'm so envious.
