| My post disappeared so here goes again.
Anyone know where we can get sweet potato slips, it's transplant time and we cannot find any. Grocery store is out of the question, by the time some slips form it will be too late. |

| I believe you can plant slips into July. Just get an organic sweet potato from the market, cut one end off a bit, suspend (with toothpicks) in a jar of water....you'll have slips in no time. I don't think anyone sells 'slips'. |

| Thanks marymcp, my girl is looking forward to her sweet potatoes this winter and I was getting worried we would be paying out the nose again for store bought. Gonna pick some up at Sprouts, if I can find them. thanks again. ;) |
