| Driving in Queen Creek today, i saw a house with ENORMOUS sunflowers. the flowers looked the size of a basketball and the foliage was deep dark green.
what kings of sunflower is this and where could one get these? i have a few sunflowers growing, but the foliage is pale green, is that normal? |

| I got some seed at Home Depot early this spring for two different kinds of sunflower. The kind labeled 'Edible Sunflower' sounds like what you're describing. Mine are 8-10' tall with single flowers ~12" diameter. I also planted others that were labeled 'Ornamental' that only get 5-7' tall have multiple flowers that are 3-4" diameter. |
