Egyptian Walking Onions

Does anyone have these in their yard here in Phoenix?

I just got some and want to make sure I plant them where they can thrive. The instructions I read, and the web, too, say "sunny". Do they realize that "sunny" is SUNNY here in Phoenix?

WHere did you put yours? How are they doing?

Ernie, I planted mine in full sun and they did great for a couple of years. They died off recently so I need some more. One note of caution: note they are called 'walking' onions. That's because they will travel all over the garden. I sunk a large clay container into the garden and planted in the container. It worked very well. They like water and compost.
