Lantana not blooming

Purchased 12 smaller plants about 8 weeks ago with beautiful gold blooms. Blooms lasted about 3 weeks. Some of the plants are green and healthy some have light brown / dry looking leaves. Planted in hardwood mulch. OVerhead watering 1-2 times per week. It looks like there might be some new blooms trying to appear. Any thoughts???

RE: Lantana not blooming

If you live in Dona County, this has been a really BAD past two weeks for all plants. With 100+ windy day attacking the environ, water stress is magnified. Overhead watering increases the chance of leaf scald whereas drip irrigation eliminates the problem and make sure that you water deeply ( 1-2 gallons at each watering).

Maybe your overwatering? I rarely water my lantana and it grows like a weed. Same with my torchglow bougenvillas.
It sounds like they might be getting some sunscald as well. I would cut down on the watering.
