Brutal. Should we be erecting shade cloth over everything?

LOL. I love it. Oh sure, I miss my geraniums that were so pretty October until May, but now my vincas are doing a nice job as replacements and things like honeysuckle, datura, and plumeria perfume the garden in the morning. There's at least three cactus blooms somewhere in the garden each week too. Always nice. Lantanas, butterflies, mile-a-minute-vine, chocolate flower--I do love summer here, at least in the morning and evening, heh heh.

I hide in the shade in the afternoon, LOL, but I do sit outside each morning and read the paper with a cup of hot coffee and enjoy the garden (early though, LOL, I get up around 5:15 and sit outside and do light quiet garden chores after the coffee/paper). The light is so beautiful, and the temperatures so nice, between 5:30 and 8:00 a.m. this time of year. Of course, that means I'm asleep by 9:30 p.m., but who cares, it's dark anyway! :P

I had lunch at a restaurant today and ended up having to take it to the patio outside (in shade) as it was too chilly inside.

I say bring it on. :) But then again, check back in August!

OMG! We're all gonna DIE!!!!

I'm in "vampire" mode, only active while the sun is down, but it's still nice in the mornings.

We are moving to Rimrock on Tuesday, from Lake Havasu. I pick up the u-haul truck on Monday.

Sure hope that air conditioner works......

Wabikeguy has the right idea. Montana or Washington is sounding real inviting right about now. I'd love to do some diving off the San Juan Islands in water so cold that I need my dry suit, then go enjoy some dungeness crab and goeyduck clams!
I did notice our rain chances got bumped up to the big 2-0 for next Saturday. Woo Hoo!
