Many Aloes do not appreciate wet feet during summer.

I only water my aloes in summer when they're really dry, like every other week or so, depending on soil and whether they're in the ground/pots. Some times rejoice in our hot summers, but others, like A.variegata (partridge breast aloe), A. plicatilis, and A. ramosissima enter a heat induced stupor and barely want any water at all. Most tree aloes (A. dichotoma especially) seem the same for me.

I tend to be an overwatered so I'm super light with water in summer with aloes. I try to visualize how much water they're storing in those big juicy leaves, and about how long it could last them with zero water (a couple of months usually, when I think about it). That helps me with my watering addiction-- a bit, hah!

I have an Agave Blue Glow planted in full sun. I don't know if it's a sun or watering problem. I definitely haven't over watered, some of it's lower leaves look bleached and some wilted. This was a spectacular plant in a container where I kept it in the patio under partial shade. I planted it late winter and it was doing fine until the laser/ heat blast this spring/summer. I water maybe once every 1 to 2 weeks. More like a 7 second count in the evening.

Can anyone give suggestions if you grow this? This is my favorite aloe.

Move it or otherwise shade it. Blue Glow will take a lot of sun, but not full sun. And you can water more -- your plant would likely be quite appreciative of a twice per week schedule.

I've dug up and moved Agaves plenty of times. You can always hope for an especially active, cloudy monsoon. Else it's going to fry. My guess is that full sun won't kill it, just leave it scarred and unattractive. And more water through summer should help. Good luck!
