Shishito Peppers

I have a small Shishito Pepper plant. It produces a lot of peppers, but they are all stunted. They are only about half an inch, then turn red. They should be around 3-4 inches. It's in a raised bed and gets tons of sun of course being in Arizona. It gets watered daily on a drip system. Any suggestions to get full sized peppers?

LOVE shishitos!!!
My mom grows them in Northern NM, it's not as hot as here, but it can get pretty warm (90s and sometimes 100) and dry. Hers only get flood irrigated once a week. I think peppers need to be a bit dry. . . ?

Maybe yours are getting too much light watering and not enough deep watering - with dry periods in between? Just a guess. . .

I agree with zzini, HOT and DRY maybe some partial shade during the more UV intense months to protect from sun burn.
