Little tip for Tempe residents and/or other Maricopa res.

This may be old news for some of you more experienced gardeners, but I just found out that the city of Tempe gives out free compost bins to their residents. Apparently Gilbert has done this for a while, so I'm thinking many other cities may do this as well in case anyone was needing one. They are delivering mine tomorrow.

Chandler also does this. The compost bins appear to be trash bins with the bottom cut off. They also include a small book on composting, and yes they do deliver to your home.

Phoenix does it too but they are $5 and you have to pick them up at the transfer station(s) - when they have them. It's a good deal for sure.
