| This may be old news for some of you more experienced gardeners, but I just found out that the city of Tempe gives out free compost bins to their residents. Apparently Gilbert has done this for a while, so I'm thinking many other cities may do this as well in case anyone was needing one. They are delivering mine tomorrow. |
Follow-Up Postings:

| Chandler also does this. The compost bins appear to be trash bins with the bottom cut off. They also include a small book on composting, and yes they do deliver to your home. |
|
| Phoenix does it too but they are $5 and you have to pick them up at the transfer station(s) - when they have them. It's a good deal for sure. |
