Probably not enough water -- not nearly enough if they're out in the sun. The plant in the pic can probably be salvaged, if you'll start watering it. These aren't native cacti we're dealing with and they aren't yet established. You should probably be watering 2-3 times per week -- if you're in the low desert and they're out in the sun.

I'd have to agree w/ GermanStar. Not enough water. And especially likely if the plants were grown in a peat-based soil mix from their container.

Yeah, you can get small Agaves like that down to watering once every 10 days or so through summer, but not before they're well established.

Thank you both for your posts. I went out to water them on Tuesday after seeing GermanStar's post and realized that the 3 that are suffering are in full sun pretty much all day. The other 3 do get some afternoon shade. I'll start watering twice a week and see if I can save at least 3 or 4 of them. Thanks again!!
