Hallo All :

I recalimed/rescued some discarded bamboo from a local park in Central Phoenix - had been dug up and was in the trash pile - huge HUGE - like a 200 year old oak Stump -

just checked and so far one is throwing up new shoots -

I hear there are some Bamboo growers here - I am looking to replace the cane grass I have - but cage/barrier the roots of the bamboo before I plant it - not certain of the phyollostachys - but was big and growing for at least 20 years
