Veggies that can be planted for fall, and when to plant?

Hi everybody,

I need to plant veggies inside those 3cf bags of garden soil within a space of around 8x10. The area gets about 5-6 hours of direct sun.

All veggies are welcome although we eat a lot of spinach, collards, lettuces, bells, tomatoes, onions, carrots, broc, cabbage, zukes, cucumber, potatoes, green beans, peas, herbs and fruit. I'd like to get the most food possible out of using the bags for containers in such a small space.

What and when should things be planted?

Swiss chard will grow all winter and you can just keep harvesting. Same with leaf lettuce and spinach.

Beans are very frost sensitive (even in Phoenix)

Basically NOW for a lot of it.

it's time to start planting everything it's just like the begining of febuary right now except with the warm soil everything gets going in a hurry i pulled out all the old cukes and patty pans and planted pumpkins and zukes a couple weeks ago nursed all my tomatoes and peppers through the brutal heat and i'm now in the process of pruning back all the dead foliage for a new fall crop and the hotter i gets the better my okra does ....... btw my chili plants are now 2 years old and still going strong
