This year was the first year I grew egg plant in AZ. (Ca. before)

They are just the regular type and the plants grew well in raised beds.

The problem is the fruit is not ripinig. It is some what still green in spots and now is turning yellow. Not a dark purple. I know it is not a water issue as the rest of the plants in the bed did great. The fruit is good size, larger- than a soft ball and shaped nicely. Could it be due to sun burning? I have that issue with tomatoes and apples. Thanks in advance
