| Hi everyone,
Here's a nice surprise this week: my sprekelia plant is blooming. I bought it as a small dry bare-root bulb at the Pasadena Flea Market a couple of years ago and it's made slow, steady progress since then. I have it potted on my covered patio so that it gets an eastern exposure of sunshine from sunrise until around noon. I water it once or twice a week in summer and once or twice a month in winter. It's been evergreen for me (though the foliage is nothing to write home about, LOL). I hope you'll take a look and enjoy. I'm embedding the pic and also putting a link to it below.
Let us know what's blooming, or dying, in your garden these days. Take care and happy gardening,

| Thanks for taking a look and for commenting, I really appreciate it. I think it's a fun flower too. The foliage is sort of wimpy, but I'll take what I can get. :) Take care, |
